Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 Institute certificates re-certification notice of 10-year expiration

Simplification of the re-certification exam due in 10 years: The Level 1 and level 2 re-certification exam will no longer be a theoretical exam. However, it must be in accordance with the provisions of ISO9712-2012 standard 11.2: Level 1 and Level 2 certificate holders who have held the certificate for 10 years for re-certification, applicants must successfully complete the practical examination within the scope of the certificate, reflecting their continuous work ability. Including re-testing of specimens within the scope of the certificate, Level 2 personnel shall re-prepare the work instructions applicable to Level 1 personnel. If the test score of each sample fails to reach more than 70%, level 2 personnel fail to pass the work instruction exam, can be allowed to retake the exam twice, but should be taken within 7 days after the first re-certification test date within 6 months.

If the person fails both examinations, he/she shall not be re-certified and a new application for certification shall be required to restore certification in the respective categories and methods. Therefore, exemption from examination cannot be obtained by virtue of other valid certifications.

Level 3 recertification, certification holders can choose between an exam or a credit system for certification.

If an examination is selected, the certification holder must successfully complete at least 20 questions in the applied method to highlight the current level of NDT technology, standards, regulations and application capabilities. The certification body can also select 5 additional questions for assessment according to the requirements of the certification program.

A maximum of two recertification exams may be allowed if the holder fails to achieve a re-examination score of more than 70%. All examinations must be completed within 12 months, unless the accrediting body can extend their time.

If the applicant applies for a credit extension and fails, a recertification exam will be required. If you do not pass the first exam, you will only be allowed to take another recertification exam within 12 months from the date of application.

The re-certification fee for level 1 and Level 2 is 2500 yuan/certificate (including certificate fee 500 yuan/certificate), and Level 3 is 3000 yuan/certificate (including certificate fee 700 yuan/certificate), which is valid for 5 years and extended for 5 years. Credit extension of 2000 yuan/card, valid for 5 years.

Level 1, Level 2 re-certification can be carried out in the provinces and cities, local societies, industrial system authorized training institutions; Level 3 is conducted at the Society Examination Center.
